Zeds Dead, Canadian dubstep pioneers who are no strangers to the scene, have recently released the follow up to their previous EP (Adrenaline), entitled the Hot Sauce EP. The 6-track EP consists of 5 originals and a remix from moombahton giants Nadastrom, and definetely doesn’t fail to impress. The duo manage to show off their skills in the styles we know and love to hear them produce, as well as dabbling in an assortment of new ones, the most surprising coming from “Mr.Sub,” a future garage track which is less in-your-face, more minimal and groovy bass. On the other hand, “Rave” is a breakbeat monster that hits hard and fast, keeping things true to their well-known production style. This only goes to show that Zeds Dead are only improving their sound, exploring a more diverse sonic territory than ever before with their music, further proving that they are one of the most versatile electronic acts around. Download the EP now and see for yourself why Zeds Dead are not a force to be reckoned with, and that they are leading the way, not following the trends.
