London-born James Priestley, along with fellow studio partner Marco Antonio have recently put out an alluring piece of deep techno on Secretsundaze which succeeds their well-recieved ‘Baia’ release from 2012. ‘Speed’ is set to be praised by pundits and fans alike throughout the year, already named as one of the top 50 records of the year so far by critics. With it’s sultry disposition and mellow vibes, evolving acid sounds and soft vocals layed upon a tantilising beat that leads the listener through a luscious terrain of sound, this is a track for the true raver. Packaged along with the original is Manchester-based Trevino’s effort on the remix. Trevino amps up the baseline, turning Speed into a club ready monster, replete with all the trimmings of a deep house classic. Secretsundaze are definitely a label to keep an eye on, already throwing some of the best parties in London, and the label continues to go from strength to strength.
