As we still wait in near-unbearable anticipation for Alesso to release his progressive house Anthem, Years, and his now officially named, Clash, I was ecstatic today to learn Alesso had released his massive remix of Keane’s single, Silenced by the Night after I somehow missed the announcement of the release date. Premiered on his absolutely incredible Essential Mix in March, the remix garnered much attention in its beautiful blend of the Alternative Indie sound of Keane with the signature big room antics of the young Swedish prodigy. As the aforementioned, Years continues to lineup as one of the biggest releases of 2012, this is more than enough to make us feel a little easier about the weight, as it effectively combines the lovely vocals with an absolutely gorgeous big room break that has the usual hallmarks of Alesso’s signature which is perhaps most well known through his collaborative effort, Calling, with mentor, Seb Ingrosso. There is no question about the epic proportions of this tune, nor is there any question about the fact, that you NEED to download this track.
