Collide (Afrojack Festival Remix) – Leona Lewis

There’s been massive controversy over this tune, since Avicii accuses Leona Lewis and her label of stealing his production and using it without his and his label’s permission. For the full scoop, you can read DancingAstronaut’s excellent article which can be found here.

Anyway, leaving all that unpleasantness to one side, this is Afrojack’s festival remix of Leona’s single, which adds all the signature trademark hallmarks of an Afrojack production to the already solid vocal track. This really is a masterpiece from the Dutch master and is highly recommended.

Relatively speechless about the apparent “misunderstanding” between Leona’s label and Avicii’s label. Hope it gets sorted out, but Avicii’s just *sounds* better overall.

Why would Afrojack even remix the Leona Lewis version?

  3. Actually the Afrojack remix is pretty good. I’m glad to see Leona Lewis come out with something. She is very talented vocally and Afrojack gave us almost a different side of him with this edit.

beathau5 should take out this song in protest of the stealing of the melody.
